1. What does DDP mean? What's included?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means we cover all shipping costs, import duties, and taxes. You pay nothing extra at delivery — the price you agree to is the final price.
2. Black walnut vs. white oak — what's the difference?
Black walnut is darker with rich chocolate tones — popular with modern industrial aesthetics. White oak is lighter, suiting Scandinavian and mid-century styles.
3. Can I choose my own slab?
Yes. We photograph your actual slab before production and send it for your approval. You'll see the exact grain and character marks of the piece that will become your table.
4. Can I see progress during production?
Yes — we send factory photos at key milestones: milling, joining, finishing, and final packaging. You'll always know where your table is in the process.
5. How do I care for my table after delivery?
Always use a trivet under hot dishes. Keep out of direct sunlight. Wipe spills promptly with a damp cloth. Re-apply Osmo Polyx-Oil once a year — it's easy to do yourself and keeps the surface looking new.
6. What's covered under your warranty?
Minor hairline cracks and small surface marks are natural characteristics of solid wood — these are not defects and are not covered. However, if your table experiences severe structural splitting (such as the tabletop cracking open from the center), we will issue a full refund. Transit damage is always covered under our shipping insurance.
7. Can I cancel or return my order?
All custom orders are final — no returns or refunds for change of mind. Each table is made specifically for you, which is why we take time upfront to confirm every detail before production begins.
